Pd computer is a crude approach to embedded computer - it's an early 2000's tablet computer, running Windows XP, inside a sturdy, dustproof enclosure with speakers and audio input/output on jack/xlr sockets. It was build for my fellow luthier, who needed a reliable tuner and frequency analyzer as well as audio oscillator for his unusual instrument projects, as he already killed two laptops with the dust constantly present in his small workshop. The tablet rusn Pure Data patch, utilizing all these functions in a single package.
